Quotall partners with Pet Protect to offer pet insurance through WH Smith
As the UK pet insurance market continues to grow, Quotall is pleased to announce the addition of pet insurance to the WH Smith Insurance Service. This new offering is provided by Pet Protect and provides lifetime policies for both cats and dogs with the option of two levels of cover for vets fees up to £4000 and £10000. Customers can get a quote and buy a policy in minutes from the WH Smith website, and the Quotall service is fully WH Smith branded.
Last year, Quotall launched travel insurance, and the addition of pet insurance shows their continued commitment to providing comprehensive and convenient insurance solutions for clients and their customers.
Pet insurance a must-have for pet owners
According to the Association of British Insurers (ABI), pet insurance claims in the UK reached a record £785 million in 2020, up from £775 million in 2019. The ABI also reported that the average claim for vet treatment in 2020 was £817, with some claims reaching as high as £20,000. With these figures in mind, it is clear that pet insurance is an essential investment for pet owners.
Simon Ball, CEO of Quotall, commented on the new offering, saying, “We are delighted to be able to offer pet insurance to WHSmith customers. We understand the importance of pets to their owners, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing they are covered in the event of an unexpected illness or injury. Our partnership with Pet Protect allows us to provide flexible and affordable coverage to meet the needs of pet owners.”
